Flyers do well at the Zigzag

A sunny but cool day by the lake, three Flyers and Jordan from the Gears Cadet team put in a great showing at this crazy little crit. There was always a Flyer in the lead pack and often off the front.

A crash in the second lap kept everyone on their toes, with tight corners threatening to spit out the over enthusiastic and anyone who got stuck on the outside. Total distance for the race was 27.2km, with an average speed of 34.5km/h. Maximum speed a brisk: 53.1 km/h on the flats.

Final results: 2nd place for Quentin and 6th for Paul. Jordan came in first in his division. Mark finished 21st in his division. Thanks to Allan for the pictures.
